Today I’ve purchased the service software for the 5d (MkI) body.
It was a great moment, as even my own 5d body has a slight backfocus – and i suppose, that after a certain time any Canon DSLR will have some AF offset, simply because the wear of the mechanical parts.
So, from tomorrow morning I will be able to:
- read the real actuation numbers
- read the fault codes
- make the AF calibration
- make the exposure calibration
- make the flash calibration
- to pair a new (or used) main PCB to a 5d body
